Rooftop Cocktails, Local Drive Thurs and More - Foodie Favorites Of Oahu, Hawaii

Oahu will forever have a piece of my heart. If you’re visiting the island and you are looking for rememberable dining opportunities, look no further. Check out this list of my island favorite foodie stops.

The Hideout

I am obsessed with this location. The Hideout is a super stylish, trendy bar and lounge in Waikiki. This urban oasis features rooftop couches, fire pits, live music and lovely yummy cocktails and appetizers I’m still dreaming of. Grab your girl gang or s/o and head on over in time to watch the sunset fall upon the towering island city.

Sunny Days Cafe

Sunny Days is my favorite brunch spot on the island. Their creative breakfast and brunch plates are truly a desired treat. My advice… GET THE PANCAKES! Though you might want to get there early before they run out of the angel cake style plate from heaven. Note: It’s tight quarters once you get inside, so bigger groups take note.

Rainbow Drive-In

If you’re a real foodie, you might have already heard of the Rainbow Drive-In from an episode of Diners Drive-Ins and Dives. This gem of a stop might not look like much from the outside but its local-style comfort foods hit the spot every time. My favorite? The loco moco. This place is so good that on average the Drive-in dishes out over 1500 plates of food a day. So with that said, don’t let the line of people deter you from the experience.

Looking for a refreshing local beer spot? Aloha Beer Co should fulfill your every desire. Located in Kaka'ako on the Island of O'ahu, Aloha Beer Company is a locally owned and operated brewery. They have an island style food list including a Smoked Pork Board, Steak N’ Fondue Fries and more. Did I mention the beer? The Aloha Beer Company Tap Room features a variety of beer styles brewed in-house along with crafted cocktails.
